Delaney enjoying a little snow!We had a great weekend! We were able to see Christi and Matt this weekend for a few days. It was nice seeing them and they finally got to meet Eli. We got about 1 foot of snow and Delaney really enjoyed playing in it. She wanted to build a snowman, but it was too powdery. She even got to stay home from school on Monday and Tuesday. I was secretly wishing the snow days were next week... I go back to work on Monday, and I am dreading the return. Two snow days at the beginning of next week would be really nice! We also go to see Grammy and Grandpa Brown this weekend for a quick visit. Everyone got to see a little more of Eli's personality. He is smiling and "talking" so much more. He is also getting super strong; already lifting his head up and holding it for a while.

SuperStrong EliIn some other news...Bob and I decided to get bikes! We went tonight to pick them out. Bob got a mountain bike because he is planning on doing some "off road" biking... I on the other hand am staying to the road. I chose a comfort bike as opposed to the hybrid, because they are a little more versatile. The store had the bike Bob chose in stock so he got to take it home today, but mine was out of stock. I will be able to pick up mine on Friday! I am so excited to start riding. And because one can not just buy bikes, we also had to pick out helmets, water bottles, seat pouches, and a car rack. I will be posting a picture of our new toys soon!
