Visiting Students

Today I took Eli to visit my students. It was an experience. They were very happy to see me and meet Eli. They immediately swarmed his stroller and admired him. There are so funny. They asked questions like "has he had his first bath yet?" and "Does he poop a lot?" I just had to laugh. They were already offering babysitting services too! The kids also wanted to know when I was coming back. Although I wish I could stay home forever with Eli and Delaney, I do have to go back to work eventually. That inevitable day is March 9th :-( They miss me, but I don't miss work. My teaching partner Amber misses me a lot too :-) It's nice to know they like me there and appreciate me, so I guess that makes going back a little easier. At least the week I go back is the start of State Testing, so it won't be too stressful for me. Then there are only 5 weeks until Spring Break and then after that there are only 6 weeks until the end of the school year. It's pretty bad that I have a countdown to the end of the school year and I am not back to work yet! Oh well... I guess I have to put my big girl pants on and deal with it!
